Last month Ben Hoelting presented on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).  He continued on the same lines as Erik Lane did the month before.  After some review he continued by discussing backend patterns and solutions to OOP using the ADO.NET Entity Framework and .NET RIA Services.  The meeting then went into Design Patterns.  He explained why Design Patterns even exist and their pros and cons.  Finally he took a quick look at how to architect a MVVM solution with a Silverlight front end.  Obviously there was a ton of information presented so please take a look at the slides and demos below.  The pictures where removed from the final Silverlight demo to make the file smaller to download.  The file also includes a script to create the database.  If you have any problems please contact us at info@southcolorado.net.

It was another good turnout and the Jimmy Johns sandwiches provided by Graym and TEKSystems were awesome.  The facilities at the OTC were also outstanding.  Thanks to everyone that supports our group and thanks to the attendees as well.
