Visual Studio 2010 Launch
Visual Studio 2010 was officially released on April 12th around the world. VS 2010 has been available to “play” with via betas and release candidates for many months. There is also an overload of information out there in cyberspace. So why attend a community launch at the user group? To get your specific questions answered. Also to learn about all the practical features and reasons to upgrade. No marketing fluff, just straight talk about the latest release of Microsoft development technologies.
The format of this meeting will also be different than most launches and UG meetings. The meeting will consist of a panel of local subject matter experts that will give a short presentation on what’s new in VS 2010 related to their subject of expertise. After that we will open up the panel to your questions. We can break up into smaller groups if needed or just use the main podium to get your questions answered. The goal is for you to leave the meeting with the information you need to justify upgrading to VS 2010 over the weekend.
